Job Responsibilities
As a data entry specialist at VPI Compounding Pharmacy, your key responsibilities will include:
- Efficiently and accurately process new prescription orders, refills, or clarifications.
- Utilize multiple software programs to review patient profiles and accurately enter prescription information.
- Update and maintain patient records with an eye for detail, ensuring HIPAA compliance.
- Collaborate with other teams to address clarifications and transfer information appropriately.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold standards for data security.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Active Colorado Provisional Pharmacy License or Colorado Certified Pharmacy Technician License preferred. VPI will cover costs for applicants willing to obtain a provisional license.
- Minimum typing speed of 50 words per minute.
- Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and effective time management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize competing demands.
- Adaptable and eager to learn and grow with the company.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to sit and type for extended periods.

Compensation:
- $21-24 per hour, depending on experience.
Location:
- Remote, however applicants must first be trained on site in-person at VPI Compounding Pharmacy (approximately 90 days)

- Schedule: Full-time.
- Training (approximately 90 days in person): Mon-Fri 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
- Remote: Wed-Fri 8:30 am - 7:00 pm | Sat-Sun 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
