Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roadside Assistance Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing Roadside calls, gaining critical information to allow us to help our customers, and ensuring efficient communication during situations. This role requires exceptional multitasking abilities, and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Receive and prioritize roadside assistance calls from the public and assess the nature of the situation.
- Gather essential information from callers.
- Dispatch appropriate resources to incidents using GPS technology and phone systems.
- Maintain detailed logs of all communications and dispatch activities for record-keeping purposes.
- Negotiate with various stakeholders to ensure timely responses and resolution of calls.
Experience
- Proven experience in dispatching or a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong typing skills and proficiency in using phone systems are essential.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies related to dispatching.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $23.98 - $25.49 per hour
