Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and driven Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy to enhance our online presence and engage with our audience effectively. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various social media platforms, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create compelling content that resonates with our target audience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business goals.
- Create engaging content for various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X.
- Manage daily social media activities, including posting updates, responding to comments, and interacting with followers.
- Utilize tools such as Hootsuite for scheduling posts and analyzing performance metrics.
- Conduct research to identify trends and insights that can enhance content effectiveness.
- Collaborate with graphic designers to produce visually appealing graphics and videos.
- Proofread all content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency.
- Monitor social media channels for customer feedback and engage in conversations to build community.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in social media management.
Skills
- Strong Grammar.
- Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in content creation across various formats (text, images, video).
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with video editing software for creating engaging multimedia content.
- Knowledge of social media management tools like Hootsuite or similar platforms.
- Ability to conduct thorough research on relevant topics and trends.
- Understanding of web analytics to track performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
Position
This position can be done remotely for much of the responsibilities. That said, at least one weekly on site visit to all locations in Fredericksburg Texas will likely be required. Furthermore, our busiest days of events, tours etc. is Saturday each week. So any Social Media Manager should be available to cover our Saturday activities.
Daily Tasks
Grape town Vineyard and Farm - We need a post each day highlighting one of the following categories Wine, Safari Tours, Safari Tents, The Grape Stomp, New or Baby Animals, Upcoming Events, Saturday’s Live Music.
New Sushi Place - We need a post each day highlighting one of the following categories: Happy Hour Specials, Karaoke, Sushi, popular, new or seasonal cocktails and announce holiday hours.
Martini’s - We need a post each day highlighting one of the following categories. Our Mon-Wed $1 Oyster Happy Hour FB, our top menu items or any new menu items, daily musical performers including Strolling String music on Fri or Sat, popular, new or seasonal cocktails, announce holiday hours.
Jack’s Chophouse - We need a post each day highlighting one of the following categories. Our great Happy Hour, our top menu items or any new menu items, musical performers including Strolling String music on Fri or Sat, popular, new or seasonal cocktails, announce holiday hours. Steak. Steak. Steak.
Banker smith - We need a post each day highlighting one of the following categories. Wing Wednesday at Banker smith - WEDNESDAY SPECIAL - $1 Wings All Night (Until Sold Out)!!! Happy Hour 5PM-6PM (Only) 2 Beer - 5 Wine - 7 Cocktails Our Famous Wings Only $1. We need a post each day highlighting one of the following categories: daily Musical Performers, Safari Tours, Crab Events etc., our Air BnB’s in Dance Hall and our Safari Tents, The Goat Bus, our sheep or pig, Upcoming Events, Steak Night, Live Music, Cowboy Church.
Weekly Tasks
- We should post Giveaways on Banker smith, BOT, Jack’s, Victory Cup, Sushi, Martini’s, Grape town. We can giveaway $25 gift cards at each location. Grape town maybe giveaway a safari tour for two.
- Music Posts for Week
- Search IG and FB for Banker smith and other events and save photos to google gallery ask for positive Yelp reviews
- Price Hike Post and Limited Tickets Post for upcoming events
- Push the Happy Hours
- POST on all event pages - Need to start doing Giveaway announcements again on FB main pages (Banker smith, BOT, Victory Cup, Sushi, Jack’s) - PLUS a POST in EVE of events about the price hike, use the discount code, and buy tickets!
- Post photos from day events or an animal photo
- BOT - Post about the day’s event early on Saturday. Tickets STILL available
- Victory Cup posts weekly about upcoming polo/balloon - Tickets STILL available
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
