Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze conflicts database records to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with firm policies.
  • Conduct legal research to confirm corporate structures, client affiliations, and matter-specific party relationships.
  • Identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, and outdated information in the conflicts database.
  • Ensure client and matter details align with firm policies and industry best practices.
  • Update real-time matter-specific party relationship changes to maintain accurate client and matter associations.
  • Prepare summary reports on database findings, including recommendations for improving data integrity.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, risk management professionals, and administrative staff to resolve discrepancies and ensure proper documentation.
  • Perform additional administrative or research tasks as needed to support the project.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience with legal research tools preferred.
  • Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in legal and corporate data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting findings clearly and concisely.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet short- and long-term deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
  • Experience working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience preferred.
  • Prior experience in legal research, analysis, compliance, or risk management is a plus.

Hourly Rate


$25-$30 per hour


Physical Requirements


Primarily sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to walk short distances, and/or drive a vehicle to deliver and pick up materials. Work can be performed with or without accommodations.


Travel

5-10% domestic travel by car and plane.
