Responsibilities:
- Oversee all file management activities, including filing, organizing, and retrieving physical and electronic documents
- Create new files and update existing ones in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Sort incoming documents, such as invoices, contracts, and correspondence, into appropriate categories
- Monitor and track file movements to ensure all documentation is accounted for
- Conduct regular audits to identify and correct any potential inaccuracies or inconsistencies in the filing system
- Support other departments by providing requested files in a timely and organized manner
- Protect confidential information by adhering to strict security measures and protocols
- Collaborate with other team members to continuously improve file management processes and procedures
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a file clerk or in a similar administrative role
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of filing methods and systems
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Physical ability to lift and move boxes up to 25 pounds
