Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience working with data entry, onboarding, and time & attendance management with familiarity with Workday. This role requires a self-motivated professional who can work independently while maintaining high accuracy in HR operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle:
- Facilitate the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth experience for new hires.
- Manage pre-employment documentation, background checks, and compliance requirements.
- Support employee transitions, including promotions, transfers, and terminations.
- Accurately enter, maintain, and update employee records in Workday.
- Ensure data integrity by conducting regular audits and reporting inconsistencies.
Time & Attendance Management:
- Monitor employee time tracking and attendance records, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Address and resolve discrepancies in timesheets or payroll-related issues.
- Provide support to employees regarding timekeeping policies and system-related inquiries.
HR Operations & Support:
- Assist with HR reporting, compliance tracking, and process improvements.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support HR initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of HR experience, familiarity with Workday.
- Strong experience in data entry, onboarding, and time & attendance tracking.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of HR compliance and employment regulations.
- Previous experience supporting payroll or benefits administration.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
