Slate Ridge is a growing bookkeeping and finance startup dedicated to providing top-tier accounting solutions for small businesses of all sizes. As we expand, we’re looking for a motivated and experienced Marketing Coordinator to take charge of our digital presence, generate leads, and help scale our brand. This is a great opportunity to grow with us, with the potential for a full-time role and team build out as the business expands.


Duties

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital and social media.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive analysis to inform marketing strategies.
  • Social Media Management: Oversee and grow our presence on Instagram and Facebook.
  • Lead Management: Handle all leads generated from social media and digital platforms.
  • SEO & Website Management: Optimize our website and content to improve SEO and Google rankings.
  • Content Creation: Write engaging copy, blog posts, and other content to drive organic traffic.
  • Ad Management: Run and manage paid ad campaigns on Facebook, Google, and Instagram.
  • Lead Generation: Actively pursue qualified leads through strategic online marketing initiatives.

Skills

  • Strong research skills to gather data and insights that drive informed decision-making.
  • Proficiency in HTML for email design and web content management.
  • 1–5 years of experience in online marketing, SEO, and social media management.
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience managing Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and SEO strategies.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, and other key digital platforms.
  • Ability to work remotely, independently, and manage time effectively with minimal supervision.

This is a part-time, fully remote contract (1099) role, requiring approximately 20 hours per week. You must provide your own laptop and have a reliable internet connection. This position offers growth potential within the company, with the opportunity to transition into a larger role as the business expands.
