Provider Services Specialist

Position Location: 100% remote


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Answer inbound calls from provider offices regarding patient-related services such as pricing for Reference Based Pricing claims both Pre-Service and Post Service.
  • Accurately input, update and maintain data into SalesForce, requiring strong attention to detail, excellent typing and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Perform high volume of triaging of emails and voicemails.
  • Seeking to understand the context behind the provider's call by probing for information to understand the provider's questions or support needs in order to ensure first call resolution;
  • Navigating and engaging multiple systems, and pulling the puzzle pieces together to resolve provider questions, complex issues and requests;
  • Offering guidance to providers regarding their patient's denials and appeals processes;
  • Navigating and providing input to policies, systems, methods, and procedures for the effective management of key business processes;
  • Respond promptly to third party administrators (TPAs), clients and providers.
  • Assist with handling incoming and outgoing USPS mail (if local)
  • Professionally communicate with customers, TPA's and clients through various channels.
  • Clearly communicate and coordinate with colleagues and other departments as necessary.
  • Consistently meet established productivity goals and quality standards.
  • Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
  • Performing other relevant tasks, as needed
  • Other projects and duties as assigned by Manager or Director.


Required Experience/Education
:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years in an office and customer service environment preferred.
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and internet navigation
  • Prior work experience with Salesforce preferred.

:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills including active listening skills. Ability to take notes simultaneously while on calls.
  • Data entry skills.
  • Ability to handle large volumes of repetitive tasks with tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining accuracy and production requirements
  • Extremely detail-oriented and possess the ability to prioritize workload.
  • Proficient in computer and typing skills.
  • Working knowledge of photocopier and scanning machine.
  • Proficient in Outlook and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial company.
