Job Overview:


The Lead Generation and Marketing Specialist will be responsible for identifying, nurturing, and qualifying potential business owners interested in selling their companies. This person will be able to assist the broker, where necessary, in managing deals to their close. Additionally, this role will drive marketing initiatives that increase brand awareness, establish credibility, and position Paul Cheetham & Vanla Group as a leading Mergers & Acquisitions broker/firm.


Key Responsibilities:


Lead Generation & Sales Support:

  • Develop and execute lead generation campaigns using digital and traditional marketing channels.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential sellers.
  • Build and manage lead databases using CRM software.
  • Qualify leads through email, phone calls, and social media outreach.
  • Collaborate with the broker to ensure seamless hand-off of qualified leads.
  • Collaborate with the broker to ensure a smooth deal process.
  • Track and analyze lead conversion rates and optimize outreach strategies.

Marketing & Brand Awareness Initiatives:

  • Manage social media presence on Facebook and Instagram, as well as industry-relevant platforms, to engage with target audiences.
  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns tailored to sellers.
  • Assist in organizing webinars, podcasts, networking events, and speaking engagements to position the broker as an industry thought leader.
  • Coordinate digital advertising efforts, including Google Ads, Meta Ads, and retargeting campaigns.
  • Monitor SEO and optimize website content to improve organic search rankings.
  • Conduct research using databases, social media, or CRM software to identify potential customers.
  • Communicate clearly and persuasively in English to convey the value of our products and services.
  • Track marketing KPIs and generate performance reports.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in lead generation, digital marketing, or sales development (preferably in business brokerage, real estate, or financial services).
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, including CRM software, email marketing platforms, and analytics tools.
  • Experience running successful digital ads campaigns on Meta and Google for service-based businesses.
  • Ability to analyze data and adjust campaigns for better performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and results driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and solving problems.
  • Knowledge of business brokerage, M&A, or small business transactions is a plus.
