Job Description


Gotham Government Services is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to enhance our online presence and optimize digital marketing strategies. This role involves managing our website, improving search engine rankings, analyzing user behavior, and implementing data-driven changes to increase engagement. The ideal candidate has experience in SEO, web analytics, content marketing, and digital advertising.


Responsibilities:


Website & Online Presence Management

· Maintain and update website content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and engagement.

· Optimize web pages for SEO and user experience.

· Collaborate with designers and developers to enhance site performance.

SEO & Search Performance Improvement

· Conduct keyword research and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies.

· Optimize metadata, images, and content for better search rankings.

· Monitor and analyze website traffic and search engine performance.

· Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other platforms to track user behavior and site performance.

· Provide regular reports on website traffic, conversions, and engagement.

· Recommend and implement actions based on data insights.

Content & Social Media Strategy

· Assist in content creation, including blog posts, landing pages, and social media updates.

· Ensure consistency in brand messaging across digital channels.

· Support digital advertising efforts, including Google Ads and social media campaigns.

Conversion Optimization & User Experience (UX)

· Analyze user journeys to identify barriers to conversion.

· Work with the team to enhance site navigation and usability.

Business Development Support

· Refine and manage inbound lead generation strategy.

· Develop and deploy outreach campaigns to support business development.

· Support the development of proposals and presentations.

Qualifications & Skills:

· 4+ years of experience in digital marketing, SEO, or related roles.

· Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.

· Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEO tools, and WordPress.

· Familiarity with PPC advertising and social media marketing.

· Strong organizational skills, handling many tasks simultaneously. Effectively prioritizes to ensure all deadlines are met and all issues are resolved.

· Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and understandable manner both orally and in writing internally and externally.

· Strong interpersonal skills. Work toward team success and remove barriers to cooperation and teamwork across the organization.

· Ability to think through tasks and issues methodically, identify root causes, and present data-driven solutions.
