We are a scaling and marketing agency helping local service businesses exponentially grow their business. We’re seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to create and manage engaging Facebook and Instagram short-form content. This role is project-based and perfect for someone with real-world experience who excels in videography, video editing, and strategic content planning—no college degree required. We value ambition and practical expertise over formal education.


Responsibilities


Content Creation & Videography:

  • Shoot high-quality video content tailored for local service based businesses.
  • Utilize professional equipment to capture engaging footage.
  • Video Editing:
  • Edit and produce short-form videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or other professional editing software.
  • Ensure all videos are optimized for Facebook and Instagram platforms.
  • Strategic Content Planning:
  • Develop content strategies that align with specific KPIs and the buyer’s funnel.
  • Plan and schedule posts to target different stages of the buyer journey.
  • Performance Measurement:
  • Track and analyze content performance, using metrics to optimize future content strategies.
  • Adjust tactics based on engagement, follower growth, and conversion metrics.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with our agency team to ensure content reflects the brand voice and meets client expectations.
  • Provide regular project updates and performance reports.

Requirements:

  • Experience & Skills:
  • Proven experience in social media management, preferably for service-based businesses.
  • Strong understanding of short-form content and its psychology.
  • Basic understanding of marketing and the buyers funnel.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in videography and video editing; must be comfortable using professional tools like Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve (other high-end editing software experience is a plus).
  • Technical & Creative Equipment:
  • Must have personal videography equipment and editing hardware/software necessary to produce high-quality content.
  • Strategic & Analytical Thinking:
  • Ability to develop and execute content strategies driven by measurable KPIs.
  • Experience in tracking, analyzing, and reporting on content performance.
  • Work Structure:
  • This is an independent contractor role with payment on a per-project basis.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines consistently.

Job Type: Contract


Pay: From $100.00 per hour


Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
