Position Title: Vocational Consulting Assistant

Type: Part-time

Location: Remote

Pay: $20-25 per hour

Overview:


The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple files simultaneously, utilizing our established systems, checklists, and procedures. Exceptional time management skills, the ability to meet deadlines, strong organizational abilities, and keen attention to detail are essential. Proficiency in computer use, writing, and communication is a must.

Responsibilities


· Conduct case file review, including the review of medical and legal documentation

· Compile detailed notes for case file review and evaluation preparation

· Prepare routine correspondence to attorneys, paralegals, and other professional associates regarding     scheduling, file records for review, case status updates and invoice follow-up

· Assist with proofreading draft vocational reports

· Type invoices

· Support with other various clerical tasks and data entry

· Complete additional tasks as needed to assist with special projects

· Ability to handle confidential information

· Support the office and counselors with administrative duties as needed


Qualifications/Skills


· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Strong written and verbal communication abilities

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and G Suite

· High attention to detail and accuracy

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritize workload and multitask

· Compassionate and patient demeanor when dealing with clients and their families


Experience


· Education: bachelor’s degree in related field; or 1-2 years office experience, legal office preferred

· Advanced computer literacy skills and typing speed. Must be able to both use and troubleshoot issues with basic applications, such as MS Office, Dropbox and/or ShareFile without assistance

· Patience and professionalism while dealing with clients both in person and over the phone

· Previous data entry, document processing, or bookkeeping experience in a professional setting

· Familiar with legal terminology


Job Type: Contract


Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
