Social Media Specialist (Contract Role, Flexible Hours)

Position: Social Media Specialist

Type: Contract (5-15 hours per week, with potential for growth)

Rate: $20 per hour (to start)

About the Role:

I’m a business owner with multiple ventures, including a yoga studio and wellness center (Rouse Yoga). I’m looking for a long-term, dedicated Social Media Specialist to help me gain exposure across various platforms. Right now, I create the content but need support with posting, engagement, audience growth, and strategy.

As my businesses grow, so will your role, pay, and hours. I want someone who is eager to grow with me, willing to grind (in the future), and motivated to help my current and future businesses reach their full potential. If you’re looking for a flexible, contract-based role with the opportunity for long-term expansion, this could be the perfect fit.


Responsibilities:


-Content Scheduling & Posting: Manage posting across various social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, IG, YouTube, Clapper, etc.) at the most effective times.

-Engagement & Community Management: Respond to comments and messages, build engagement, and create conversations with followers.

-Algorithm Optimization & Organic Growth: Keep up with social media trends, best practices, and platform algorithms to increase visibility and reach.

-Research & Strategy Support: Help identify content ideas that align with audience interests and current trends.

-Hashtag & SEO Optimization: Optimize posts with the right hashtags and keywords for maximum reach.

-Performance Tracking & Reporting: Track engagement, follower growth, and insights to adjust strategies accordingly.

-Advising on Content Creation: Guide me on what kind of content to create that will drive engagement and conversions.


Ideal Candidate:


-Understands social media algorithms and how to create organic growth.

-Proficient in Chat GPT, Canva, and scheduling tools etc

-Works quickly and efficiently without sacrificing quality.

-Able to stay updated on the latest social media trends and best practices.

-Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.

-Has a growth mindset and excited about taking on more responsibility as the business expands.

-Passionate about wellness, spirituality, sustainability, and ethical business practices.
